In 2002, a full-time risk manager was hired whose sole responsibility is workplace safety.  This commitment has resulted in a significant change to the culture of our company, which, in turn, is reaping the benefits by a dramatic reduction in workers’ compensation claims. 

The majority of supervisory personnel have come up through the ranks and therefore they know what it takes to do the job safely and right the first time. One of the primary duties of every supervisor is the education of those under their supervision.  This is an enhancement to the OSHA training classes, competent person, trench safety, diving certification, driver training, first aid, and numerous other courses that are provided for all of our employees.
